Till now a household energy recycling products come out to save our waste. Araya Institute from the Middle East, created a such waste management and energy provision product name HOMEBIOGAS. To help those household which do not have access to such services, off-grid communities struggle to find a sustainable energy source and to properly dispose of their animal waste.

In areas where the average day/night temperature is above 66° F (17° C), HomeBiogas claims its anaerobic system can digest up to 6 liters (1.6 US gal) of food waste or 15 liters (4 US gal) of animal manure to create approximately 3 hours of cooking biogas per day. The system also produces "a clean, natural liquid fertilizer" as a by-product of the digestive process.

Performance drops in cooler climates, but conceivably, the unit could be used in a well-ventilated and warm space, such as a greenhouse.

Ami Amir from HomeBioGas marketing and business development state that the HomeBioGas system is the only small biogas system that has ever achieved the European CE stamp of approval for safety. "We received this approval after a very thorough review by a biogas safety engineer, and then an audit by a European Laboratory who monitored the design, materials, manufacturing practices and final testing," Amir says. "We passed with flying colors."

The system produces methane gas at a concentration of 65 percent under very low pressure (20 millibars). "Due to the low pressure, there is nothing that can explode," Amir says. "Even if there is a leak, since methane is lighter than air, it immediately evaporates and gets dissipated in the atmosphere."

When the founders demonstrated the system to UN Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon, he provided them with a staggering statistic. According to a World Health Organization report from 2012, 4.3 million women and children die every year from the effects of air pollution created by cooking with solid fuels, such as wood, charcoal and coal.

Cooking on wood fires is also often a labour intensive process for women and children, as wood has to be gathered and carried. In some countries, the need for wood for cooking fires contributes significantly to deforestation.

 ArcaBoard is believable because its specs aren't exactly too good to be true.

To create enough lift, the board is packed with 36 high-power electric ducted fans creating up to 272 horsepower and 430 lb (195 kg) of thrust. The batteries that provide the juice for all that power last a maximum of six minutes on the lightweight version and three minutes on the ArcaBoard designed for heavier riders.

So this isn't exactly the right vehicle for commuting just yet, especially when you consider that top speed is limited to 20 km/h (12.5 mph).

The ArcaBoard can reportedly be controlled with the rider's body or via a Bluetooth-connected iOS or Android app that activates a stabilization system and relays navigation commands via hand movements.

The board itself looks something like a giant, clunky skateboard built from composite materials, measuring 145 x 76 x 15 cm (57 x 30 x 6 inches). Don't expect to be popping an ArcaBoard in your backpack a la Marty McFly, either, as it weighs 82 kg (180 lb) on its own. Chris Lang, the company's Chief Operating Officer, tells Gizmag that it could be carried by two people.

Despite having a range per charge of only 2 km (or a little over a mile), the ArcaBoard will set you back more than some cars, with a starting retail price of US$19,900. It requires six hours to recharge the board with a regular outlet, but if you purchase the ArcaDock rapid charging accessory for another $4,500, you can reportedly have it up and hovering again in just 35 minutes.

Hey, we never said it would be cheap to be one of the coolest early adopters in your neighborhood.

Arca is taking orders now for both versions of the ArcaBoard and the ArcaDock, with delivery expected in April 2016. "We have made two complete units," Lang tells us. "One green and one beige. The third is blue, and is under construction."

We'll be watching this one with interest.
